Add products with variants, SKUs & HSN codes

A good product record sells the item and keeps your invoices and stock accurate. Here’s how to add one properly — with variants, a SKU, and the HSN code and GST rate that flow onto every invoice.

Create a product

1. Go to Products → Add product.
2. Enter the title, a clear description, and the price.
3. Save anytime — the product stays hidden until you publish it.

Add variants

If your product comes in different sizes or colours, add them as variants instead of separate products:

• Add an option like Size (XS, S, M, L) or Colour.
• QuicShop creates a row for each combination so you can set price and stock per variant.

SKUs & stock

Give every variant a unique SKU (your own product code) and set its stock count. QuicShop tracks and allocates inventory as orders come in, so your available quantity always reflects real stock.

Assign HSN code & GST rate

This is the step sellers most often miss — and it’s what keeps your invoices compliant:

• Set the HSN code for the product.
• Choose the GST rate that applies.

These values are pulled onto every invoice automatically.

Media & SEO

• Upload clear photos (and video if you have it) — the first image is the thumbnail.
• Add an SEO title and meta description so the product is found on Google.

Bulk import via CSV

Have a large catalogue or moving from another platform? Go to Products → Import, download the CSV template, fill in your products (including SKU, HSN and GST rate), and upload it to create everything at once.
